Your March Landlord Update

Your March Landlord Update

Hello,

April 1st sees the new EPC Regulations come into force, with the changes to the law affecting a lot of landlords across the UK.

We’ve had a busy 18 months making sure our managed and part-managed landlords are ready; helping them access grants and funding, advising them on updates that need to be made to their properties and renewing energy performance certificates.

Although the new regulations may seem daunting, they are intended to drive up the quality of housing in the rental sector and drive out rogue landlords – which is a good thing for landlords and tenants alike. We have some articles below that will help you if you are not sure of the new laws and what you need to do. Our main team contact is Mark Glenn. You can call or email him anytime for help and advice with this on 01604 823 445 or Mark.Glenn@howkinsandharrison.co.uk.

Last month, our Rightmove reports showed that some of our offices are top in their areas for lets agreed. If you are interested in our part of fully managed landlords services, or you want to check the rental values for your property or portfolio of properties, we offer no obligation, free valuations. We can also help you to source new rental properties, sell a property or tackle any tenant issues. Please do get in touch with us.

Have a wonderful April.
