Hello,
Welcome to our monthly rural round-up email.
You will have received many emails from different firms asking you to “opt-in” to their marketing and promotional material. This is due to the new GDPR rules which relate to how companies manage your personal data. We would be very grateful if you would “opt-in” to keep receiving information from Howkins & Harrison by clicking this link.
Auction season is now in full swing; we have held a Collective Property Auction, a Collective Machinery Auction and a Complete Farm Dispersal Sale during May. Next month promises to be just as busy – you can see a full list of upcoming auctions on our website.
We have also been busy submitting Basic Payment Scheme applications for our farming clients over the last six weeks - you can see the results in our infographic below. Further grant schemes are available under the Rural Development Programme for England. Please contact one of our Rural Offices for further information.
As new plans have recently been announced for phase 2b of HS2, we continue to help clients with HS2 matters, which you can read about on our blog or via the link below. If you are a landowner affected by HS2, or are the owner of residential or commercial property close to the route, don’t hesitate to get in touch with one of our team to see how we can help.
This bank holiday weekend we are looking forward to attending the Princethorpe College National Schools' Two Day Equestrian Event as one of the sponsors. We will be serving drinks and nibbles at our stand – the event is open to the public and entry is free, if you do go, come and say hello. It promises to be a great day out for the whole family, especially as we have such good weather forecast for the weekend.
Thank you for reading,
