April's Rural Roundup

April's Rural Roundup

Hello,

At Howkins & Harrison, our roots are in the countryside and we’re proud of our strong links with the farming community. Last month, we had the pleasure of meeting the next generation of local farmers at the Netherseal Young Farmers Club, where we discussed farm diversification and how Howkins & Harrison can help, advise and work for clients to get to their chosen option. It was exciting to see how engaged the young farmers were with the subject of diversification.

We were also pleased to support NFU People In Farming last month, celebrating the 476,000 people who work in farming in the UK. Many members of our Rural Team have a strong background in farming, which you can read more about here

In addition, we are awaiting new plans for HS2, which are due to be released next month. Our team of experts here at Howkins & Harrison have already helped many clients with HS2 matters. If you need advice on HS2, you can find out more here.

Last but not least, we are focussing on "knowing your worth" with Red Book valuations this month. If you're interested to know how a Red Book valuation can benefit you, there's lots more information on our website. Or you can simply give us a call and talk to us directly.

Wishing you a productive May,

Ian Large
